Lyrics

THIS LOVE AFFAIR

Lately, I’ve become so aware
Of the fact that you don’t want me... you don’t seem to care
I sit back and wonder, what made you change
But if there’s an explanation, it’s so out of range

(chorus)
This love affair is over and done
The love we shared, and the romance we cared for is gone

When I’m in your presence, I find it hard to deny
That feeling of emptiness, and that look in your eyes
I try to surface, the feelings that you hide
Could my actions be useless, maybe there’s nothing inside

(chorus)
This love affair is over and done
The love we shared, and the romance we cared for is gone

Maybe I’m silly, or maybe I’m a fool
Not wanting to believe, that this love affair is through
But, time has allowed me to view this objectively
Now I see clearly, what I once refused to see

(chorus)
This love affair is over and done
The love we shared, and the romance we cared for is gonee
