Lyrics

[intro]
three, two, one, and go!

[rap]
Wir sind kampfbereit!
Let's fight!
Wir sind kampfbereit.
Let's do it!
Das ist die Alte Burg Neustadt Glewe,
eine Veranstaltungsstätte für den Kampf für uns,
die modernen Wikinger-Reenactment-Enthusiasten
die Vergangenheit wieder zum Leben erwecken.
Das sind wir, nichts kann uns aufhalten!
That's what we are!

[verse 1]
Beneath the banners of the ancient tide,
Where Vikings' echoes and pride reside,
We brave the halls of Alte Burg Neustadt Glewe's embrace,
In Burgfest’s glow, we step into the past’s face.

With swords held high and shields held true,
reenact the Jomsborg’s fierce crew,
Huscarls stand, steadfast and bold,
Their valor stories centuries told.

Through roaring fires and drum’s deep beat,
We channel warriors, fierce and fleet,
In this sacred quest, our spirits rise,
Reenacting history beneath the skies.

Hear the call of the gods, as the fight begins,
This is Alte-Burg Neustadt Glewe- a place to be!

[chorus]
Oh, Alte-Burg Neustadt Glewe, where warriors stand tall,
Side by side we face the storm, united through it all,
We fight with honor, strength, and pride, but never just for fun,
In this sacred ground we stand as one, our battle’s never do

[rap]
In Alte-Burg Neustadt Glewe,
I fight with my sword and shield.
I drink and raise my horns to the gods.
Then I meet my idol, a warrior so bold,
and I find my crush, Voivode beyond compare
Essence of Illumination, the radiant glow of my life.
Every warrior, every reenactor, young and old we cherish every moment, a story to be told.

Das ist Alte Burg Neustadt Glewe- Here we come!

[chorus]
Oh, Alte-Burg Neustadt Glewe, where warriors stand tall,
Side by side we face the storm, united through it all,
We fight with honor, strength, and pride, but never just for fun,
In this sacred ground we stand as one, our battle’s never done.

[chorus]
Oh, Alte-Burg Neustadt Glewe, where warriors stand tall,
Side by side we face the storm, united through it all,
We fight with honor, strength, and pride, but never just for fun,
In this sacred ground we stand as one, our battle’s never done.

[outro]
Coming Burgfest, Alte-Burg Neustadt Glewe!
