Old Friend To Play Lead Guitar

Reverend Black Dog is an impromptu singer-songwriter guitarist performing his own songs live. The term black dog used to be a way of referring to feelings of depression (i.e., sadness, melancholy, despondency, the blues) way back in the day possibly in reference to the three-headed demon dog that patrols the house of Hades in Greek mythology. "No company is more hateful than your own, the black dog follows you, and hangs close with hungry fangs!" - Horace. The name Reverend Black Dog was also influenced by the artist name Black Ace and the song Black Snake Moan and Black Dog Blues by Blind Blake and of course Black Dog by Led Zeppelin; Also, the Chinese astrological signs Snake and Dog. The title, Reverend was borrowed from the Christian clergy to which Reverend Black Dog is not part of. Email Reverend Black Dog at raspjohn@mail.com (RBD, 8/7/26).
