Story behind the song

Song came to me during a difficult time in my Christian walk.  As I got into the word of God it became truth that the devil was put under my feet  the day Jesus died on the cross.

But when you put your cares upon Him don't carry the heavy load
He'll lift you up, see you through, this is His promise to you.
