Story behind the song

This is an old recording covering a Stan Rogers tune performed live with Patchwork. It's just me on guitar with Jenny Brown singing. I love this piece not only because of Jenny's heartfelt delivery, but because the guitar becomes an integral part of the performance as it assumes the role of an ever-threatening and implacable antagonist.
