An amalgam of anything that passes thru one ear and out the other -- see our Interview page for details.

In our music, you'll hopefully find everything -- rock, orchestral, trip-hop, spacey/ambient, whatever -- most times all in one tune!! Mwah-ha-ha.... We follow no labels, guidelines, trends -- we write what we feel at any given moment; industrial one moment, folk the next. You might hear smatterings of Floyd/Waters/Gilmour, a touch of Mike Nesmith, some Metheny, maybe even some Vangelis or 80's pop, classic rock, sheer noise, Air, Terje Rypdal, and if you really stretch in order to make us seem more relevant to the times, maybe some of The Shins, Sigur Ros, etc. Basically anything that makes a noise can inspire us.

Story behind the song
Just after sunrise, Sally gets in her old Rambler and without looking at her girlfriend for fear of changing her mind, speeds down the dirt road in a cloud of dust. Not long after, her partner awakens and realizes Sally is gone for good. Probably the 1st real collaborative collaboration since the old Millikin days, hence the breakdown of which of us wrote what. The first two choruses John had to wear too-small jeans. So of course the last chorus had to be taken up a whole step or a third or whatever; then he had to add a hernia belt and an extra-small athletic supporter with spikes on the inside. Thank you, Sunshine, for your kind contribution of your gorgeous bridge vocals. Hope it was as fun for you as it was for us. (Version #2 with different guest vocal hopefully coming soon, pending their go-ahead)
Lyrics
Sally's hit the road for good; she doesn't take to learning well. She hasn't packed her bags or said goodbye. Goodbye. Never thought she'd leave for good. Her jewelry sits behind the bed. She didn't think to turn her head, that's why. That's why. She isn't coming back; the road is ahead of her now. She's never looking back at the girl who just work up and is crying now Her gentle kiss is gone for good, like a whisper in the night you can't recall. The ether in her gaze you'll breathe no more. No more. Her tangled curls are gone for good. You fear the thought if living life alone. You never had the chance to say goodbye. Goodbye..... She isn't coming back; the road is ahead of her now. She's never looking back at the girl who just work up and is crying now There had to be a thought of me somewhere indie your head. And will I cross your mind sometime tonight As I dream you're on your way home? What did you need from me? What were you missing? Where are you going? She's never coming back; the road is ahead of her now. She's never looking back at the girl who just woke up and is crying now.
