Slow renewing systems all  disappearing quick, 
ecologies of living things 
wiped away in human play
as we wield our shtick

Instead of seeking harmony industries consume 
that which would renew itself and all that we need we doom
in breakneck extraction, burning up our home

Our world is locked in overshoot
Soon all we do becoming moot 
As we squander all our loot
