A very skillful piece of music, wonderful blend of instruments and superb composition. The production is top notch too! The strong oriental influence gives it a great atmosphere. Excellent work!A true work of joy. A Captivating riff provides a fantastic backdrop for the fantastic koto and flute melodies, and once the percussion joins the middle section is indeed pure magic. :DVery creative work with the multiple time signatures and varied ethnic influences.
the whole beginning gives a joyous feeling, then the flute takes it to a calmer more peaceful ending
very complex & enjoyable to listen toThis would have been a perfect addition to the Oriental CBC challenge. Lovely Koto and flute melodies kicking into that wonderful mid-section around 2:12. Great hand percussion and dramatic drumming throughout and a haunting outro on the flute. Bravo my friend, a brilliant piece :)SWEET playin....
Great PROduction here!!!
Great sounding all around...
DrumnjonThis is a great sounding track. I can close my eyes and drift away while listening. Very cool work! This doesn't evoke thoughts of the Samurai for me (but then I don't know much at all about the Samurai). Nonetheless, I found it a most enjoyable piece of music to listen to. Very well done in my humble opinionWonderfully constructed piece of music! Great in its softness and beauty! This is one great track…Terrific underlining melody groove with the sonic acoustic guitar rhythm. Awesome lead play with the ethnic instrumentation. Nice musical change. This arrangement works so well. Love the Taiko drums at 2:00…Marvelous bridge release at 2:12… Creatively done flute melody ending. Thoroughly enjoyed this composition with its Asian/ ethnic overtones. This is one of your best works imho Alex...CheersMasterful production, extremely an exciting arrangement that i truly enjoyed, wonderful textures that tingle the ears, BravoBeautiful piece, and while I'm no expert on eastern music this sound great to me, congrats on work well done!
I enjoyed that,
Mauri.Hi Alex, wow! this is full of lots of wonderful sounds. love that strumming guitar intro. very ethinic elements. lots of twists and turns. nice changes throughout!
good one! thanks for sharing with me!!Always exited when I open a new song from you, never know what genre or which part of the world you take inspiration from. This time Chinee/Japanee stile with great percussion-works. cool acoustic theme carrier with Taiko's
Defently filmscore materiel !Samurai Memories,
I was surprised for the use of an acoustic Guitar ( if it is... ) playing that marvelous riff through the whole tune! Many interesting sounds, some of them I couldn´t identify ( like an ungarian Cymbal... at the begin). My preferred part is in the middle, so much percussions ( and you CAN use percussion) that are giving pulsating moments of life. It is a journey, really, a sweet journey in the music world. More than in a "Traditional Asian" Track I would place it in a World "New Wave": but this is only my opinion of course.
Good work Alex, thank you for sharing!
This is great, mesmerizing soundscape, and an absorbing journey, totally absorbing.
