The band I play with professionally is Joey and the Jammers. I have been with them about 14 years. I have been playing guitar for 40 years. We play classic rock from the 50's 60's and 70's. If you go to the band site link we have a live demo of the band as well as some other recordings. This site is primarily for me to put up some original songs and share.

Story behind the song
Concept for lyrics will be Dad has to drive his son's jalopy and the memories it brings back.
Lyrics
Took a drive in my son's old car Didn't think I'd get too far It burns oil and smells like gas Oh man now what a mess But it was a ride with my memories Said hello to Linda Lou and dozens more that I once knew. Way back when I was one of the boys. Oh.......... to be seventeen (This is at the 2 chord break) Chorus: Sometimes I can't help but dream What it was to be seventeen Loads of time without a lick of sense Having fun ah it was so intense Oh...........to be seventeen Verse 2: When I think back to what went wrong Way back then when I was young I had it made but was too dumb to know Thought it'd get better when I got old Man you know I didn't have a clue. Boones Farm and a couple a beers Loud music till it hurt your ears That's what it was to be one of the boys. Oh............ to be seventeen
