Once upon a time in a land called '97 TPS was born. Formed on the basis of tem unity and self determination TPS is not as much a crew as it is a family. While there are many TPS members, Sawnyk & Supa Fly EmCee have the priviledge of introducing TPS to the world. In a time where all it takes to make it in the biz is a catchy hook and a good sample, it is the quest of TPS to bring the skill, fun and pure entertainment back to hip hop. Ever since the deaths of Notorious B.I.G. and 2Pac it has been open season for anyone who can rhyme two words together to rise to the top and be acknowledged as hip hop elite. It is the goal of TPS to put an end to the assault on rap music meanwhile proving that we belong. We wish to remind old school fans why they fell in love with hip hop and to show new school fans the true art of being an MC. With innovative concepts and razor sharp lyrics we hope to show the world a different perspective not only of music but of life itself. Don't worry hip hop; Help is on the way.
Band/artist history
We have been together since 1997
Have you performed in front of an audience?
we've never had the opportunity to perform live we have gone in a contests and have done an impromptu performance or two.
Your musical influences
our sound is reminiscent of late 90's hip hop the last true era of greatness. Lately our sound has been evolving into a fusion of rock/alternative and hip hop but we never stay in one place long so maybe the best influence is insanity
