Too Hot To Kill is a 4 peice indie/emo rock band based out of Oneonta, NY.
Band/artist history
Too Hot To Kill was formed at the SUNY College at Oneonta by Phil Ebel and Chris Pfister. Both were searching for people to play with, but nothing seemed to be working out. In the first few weeks of their songwriting class they began talking about their similar interests in music and found they had a lot in common. They began to write songs in Phil's basement. Things kept flowing, but something was missing. They called upon the percussion skills of Chris Carey, a friend of Pfister's from Jazz ensemble. When they all got together to play, it was incredible. Chris was just about the craziest drummer the other two had seen. Something was still missing. One of the most important parts. They soon put out a flyer for a keyboard player. A few days later they got a call from Hannah Kim. Phil knew her from around campus and said that it was definitely cool if she wanted to jam with the band. After a few practices and still no vocalist, they made a decision. They had found out that Hannah was one of the best vocalists/songwriters on campus. After that, things fell right into place. Too Hot To Kill blends many influences to get their original sound. The chemistry between its members comes through very strongly in its music and the passion of the members to make quality music is truly the driving force of Too Hot To Kill.
