Musically I have worked top Manchester UK venues on Piano and Electronic Organ and also in various bands for Functions. Also Holiday (Vacation) Resorts etc. Magically for Family and Child Audiences we could fill a book with stories of people and places - but that is not for here.What equipment do you use?
Whilst most of my recordings are Yamaha Digital Arius Piano and a few cheap commercial keyboards, I have always had a love of Electronic Organs (not to everyone's taste I admit) but there are various pieces of a 1989 Yamaha cheap home organ, and a 1991 Technics - which was cutting edge and the price of a small new car back then. I have another Soundclick site here related to Pontins Holidays in the late 1970s with me playing a simply gorgeous Gulbransen Organ and there are 1979 photos of myself and my wife both at the Piano and with this Organ here. My interest in organs came from my long deceased neighbour and musician Eric Barlow - who was Stockport Town Hall Organist. You'll see one or two photos here with me and electronic organs - including the lovely Hammond Tonewheel and Leslie speaker combos of the past. Also note the photo with a Vox Continental . . . that was awful . . .
