Tony Scarano
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Trained as a jazz and blues guitarist from the age of 8. First public performance was The Beatles' "Hey Jude" at age 10. He joined his first band at age 12 and has been performing ever since. Playing in a variety of bands, from Big Band orchestras, rock bands, blues bands, acoustic duos and solo performances from then on through today.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
My best experience playing live was April 2005 when I had the opportunity to play with world renowned jazz guitarist Stanley Jordan. This was the validation of a dream, being able to perform with a master at that level will forever be etched in my memory.
