Your musical influences
M-flo has been my biggest influence. When I first heard them in HS I was astounded by their versatility and ability to mix different genres and sound good.
I am also deeply inspired by Monkey Majik, more of my style of music. They made me wanna sing and go to Asian country to teach English.
Other than that I like various musical artists including Death Cab, Jack Johnson, The Strokes, Snow Patrol...
But my music doesn't limit to just one genre. I'm just not all that into "today's" Hip/Hop and popular stuff.
What equipment do you use?
I started with Cool Edit Pro (now evolved into Adobe Audition) and Fruity Loops. I had some ideas and wanted to put it on something more tangible than just paper and voice.
Then I used Sonar on a Toshiba, it was great... allow me to do a lot of things I wasn't aware of. But my laptop reached it's limit so I decided to run Macbook Pro with Logic and Reason
