Tony Flying Squirrel
I wrote this song just for my wife, Tina. It was originally meant to be shared only with her, but on her suggestions, this "draft" of it is to be shared. May re-record parts of it for my solo record next year.
Heavy Metal Song with some classical influence by Nicolo Paganini's 4th caprice for solo violin.
Copy of Pink Floyd Song as final song of reunion set.
Instrumental Piano
'T-2' was a working title that ended up being the final title. As was with much of Prodigal Son's music, sometimes the song titles had little or nothing to do with the content of the song's lyrics.
Another 'Working' title, this song is not boring in the least bit. I still like the live version better, since it incorporated the 7 string guitar shortly after the recording of the CD.
Simple pop oriented hard rock. Of all the songs on the album, this is the one I like the least. I just didn't feel it fit the 'feel' of all the rest of the songs on the album.
I wrote the music to this song on the spot, but taylored the instrumental section in the solo to force me to play more melodically & phrased, rather that fast & improvised.
This is an acoustic instrumental, written by our Bass player, Danny, inspired by the birth of our 1st vocalist Frank Abono's son, Alex.
Another 'Working' title that ended up as final. This is what happens when a song with more notes in the arpeggio and in 7/8 time get's cut back to something totally different.
This song is about the working man, whom never seems to get a break to enjoy the fruits of his labors.
This was my attempt to achieve a sound similar to Rob Zombie. It was difficult because our drummer could not play with a click. The sequence had to be edited in. This is my favorite song off of the album. I wrote the main riff, Danny wrote the rif
Instrumental only. Just a silly little thing that I used to do with my son & former foster children at family functions or camping.
This song was written by Frank Abono (Vocals) & Todd Hurley (Ryth.Gtr), both former members of Prodigal Son. It's about a man whom has been admitted to a nursing home by his chilren against his will.
Demo version, scratch vocals, mix test.
