Tonamel
Tonamel is the guise of Ian Pottmeyer, a student of game audio at Indiana University. Since his goal in life is to become a composer of music for video games, he works in many different styles, so expect a lot of variety in his pieces.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Not much of a history, you pretty much read it in the introduction.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I have a bachelor's degree in vocal performace (singing opera), but I don't think that's what you mean.
Your musical influences
Aphex Twin, Autechre, Mum, Zero 7, Nobuo Uematsu, Prokofiev, Squarepusher, and more. Like I said before, eclectic styles.
What equipment do you use?
Buzz, Cubase SX, Garritan Personal Orchestra, untold VST's.
Anything else?
Not really.
