ToMBoy is not just a description of a female who acts and dresses like a boy, but she is also an urban rap artist who is out to push the barriers that most females are scared to push based on what society says a woman should be. ToMBoy cultivates the title of her album, Its A Phemale Conspiracy, simply by shouting out to the world that she is not going to compromise or change who she is just because her ways do not conform to what society says is the norm for a female. Although boyish and sometimes flamboyant with her lyrics, ToMBoy still maintains her feminine and sensual side, while her commercial, innocent baby-face provides a hell of a shocker to audiences when they hear whats inside those loose lips of hers & discover that shes quite older than she looks. ToMBoy has the commercial appeal of TLC, the down-to-earth aura of Aaliyah, and the sassiness of the DaBrat. This triple-threat hot mama who raps (and is a poet), writes (Raps & R&B songs), produces (to include playing the trumpet and piano by ear) has musical ears like that of Missy Elliott, and the melodic passion like that of Alicia Keys. She is a crossover success waiting to happen. This comedical rapper, who doesnt mind sitting with her legs open or even unexpectedly farting, has audiences cracking up with her catchy hooks & funny punch lines leaving those who are listening sure to rewind the disc because they cant believe what she just said Its enough to make one blush. Her baggy jeans & titty-shirts have her looking like a TLC remake, while her grown-folk racy lyrics have her sounding like a female Eminem. Her delivery, with the voice texture like that of Left Eye (RIP) and Da Brat, captivates audiences & keep them spinning her tunes. And, thats not all! On top of that, shes a cutie too, plus a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army! Wow, huh! But, ToMBoy is not just another tough babe with a cute face. This talented shortstop is utilizing her image to make a statement in support of the womens movement and empowerment. ToMBoys image makes a statement that says she doesnt have to take off her clothes or wear short mini-skirts to get where she wants to be in life, & shows that she doesnt have to walk and talk like a female to actually be one. This sassy attitude is one to be reckoned with and most females who peep her !-- can relate. ToMBoys nonchalant persona makes her one of a kind, and she is definitely the next superstar to rise to the top of the charts!

Have you performed in front of an audience?
I do shows around the Chicago area and also record pool meet and greets across the US. But, I just recently moved to California, so stay posted, for show updates in the tour section of this site.
Your musical influences
TLC is my favorite group. I'm also a big fan of Ludacris, Eminem, Twista, Fabolous, Cassidy, & Scarface on the lyric side of the house. Otherwise, I truly am in love with melody and I listen to R&B more than anything.
What equipment do you use?
I'm also a producer and I work with the Triton Le-76 key, Korg Karma, and Pro-tools. I also produce on other equipment that I can get my hands on and have had past experience with Proteus 2000, Roland JV 2080, MPC2000, and Cakewalk.
