The names Tom Barnes, and i've been playing guitar for 4 or so years. I'm currently in year 13 (A Level) and love music! I take Music Technology so i'm pretty heavily into composing and producing!
Your musical influences
2 Words...John Petrucci! He is my idol, I just love his music to bits! so obviously my influences are Dream Theater, Shadow Gallery, Rush etc. on the progressive side of things. Also my favourite band ever are Opeth...no matter what anyone says they are truly the most diverse, origional and beautiful band in the world! :p Other influences: Alexisonfire, Michael Angelo, Brad Paisley, Over The Rhine, The Mars Volta, Extol, The Vision Bleak, Massive Attack, Metallica, Jason Becker (of course), Muse, Avenged Sevenfold, Dragon Force, Trivium, Atreyu, Baroque Classical (Bach, Pachelbel etc.), Passion Grace & Fire (John McLaughlin etc)...Basically I enjoy alot of bands and alot of different types of music...far too many to list here!
