Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
If every child were as bright as his grandmother claimed he was the world would be overrun with geniuses. Likewise, if every band had as "amazing of a live show" or as "passionate songwriting" as their bio would lead you to believe you would never have to worry about sitting through a terrible band waiting for whoever is next to take the stage.
All there really is to say about To Lay With Lions is that they are perfectionists. Each measure of every song is a labor of love. TLWL doesn't write songs - they compose them. TLWL has been described as "so post-hardcore that they are pre- something we don't even know about yet." If you enjoy music that is edgy and original yet still deeply embedded in it's indie rock and hardcore roots then To Lay With Lions may be for you. Take them or leave them.
