Just playin around with my VOX ToneLab ST. The melody I wrote a few years back. All guitars were recorded direct into my lap top via the ToneLab.
My derivative groove paying respect to the funk greats from Sly to the Ohio players and others in between. Guitars were recorded using a Vox ToneLab ST into FLStudio.
Struttin is dedicated to Big Red, one of our roosters. He's a mean one, and he likes to chase you around the yard!
Perhaps the most beautiful melody ever written.
Well it's that time of year again and I wanted to do a xmas song in a guitar rock style so ... enjoy!
This song is the theme song during the credits roll for an upcoming documentary on the haunted Sallie House. Coming soon to a TV near you. I guess when it rains it pours! This project came in the middle of recording an album for Sony Records. :-)
Snowblind's version of Peter Green's song Black Magic Woman with a Latin Rock version of Tito Puente's Oye Como Va (Translates "How's it Going"). This version has Mark Paquette on vocals and Lewis Spring on harmony's.
My take on Lalo Schifrin's masterpiece. This is yet another SampleTank 2 experiment with some Slayer 2 and Sonic Synth tracks. Most instruments were done with SampleTank 2 (including drums). Sonic Synth was used for some sweeping pads.
New Remix just uploaded. Added some Animal House wav's from the scene that made this song a hit. We do this song in our band with vocals. It's the Ramones arrangement. This is my intrumental version of it.
Earth Wind and Fire's Classic Groove - I guess I'm in a Motown mood :-) Although technically EWF didn't record on the Motown label. They were early R&B.
A take on Billy Preston's classic from 72. Done in FLS 8 using Sample Tank, Sytrus & Morphine synths.
PoiZone & Morphine soft synths are used almost exclusively. Drums are sliced and some sound fx are wavs.
A Latin Rock version of Peter Green's song Black Magic Woman with a Latin Rock version of Tito Puente's Oye Como Va (Translates "How's it Going"). Of course my version is heavily influenced by Carlos Santana who made both of these songs anthems...
