Individually, I play instrumental guitar rock, with a strong blues influence. I also play in a local band that does classic and contemporary rock covers.
It was awesome to do some dueling guitars with Kerry! The band continues to amaze me with gigs we get. This year's highlight has to be opening for Eddie Money.
As I looked out into the crowd there were thousands of people as far as I could see ... and they were there to Rock! What an incredible experience!
This year I can also add cancer survivor to my resume - lol as if my little bout is worth mentioning. I guess the point is, we're only here for a little while so make the best of it!
Rock on!ToddBand/artist history
I started playing guitar when I was 11. That was 1972! Wow I'm old! I played in a few bands in the late 70's and early 80's. I took the 90's off. In fact I didn't even own a guitar for a number of years. A while ago, I was in a commercial (no I'm not an actor), and during the filming of it, I met the keyboard player for the band that I now play in. Neither one of us had played in years, and we thought it would fun to get togther and jam. Well little did we know that things would come together, and we'd be playing once again.
Playing in a band again has inspired me to start writing and recording again. I'm really enjoying it, and I look forward to hearing what comes out of those efforts.Have you performed in front of an audience?I play with a group of "40 something" guys locally. I enjoy the guys in the band and a we have a great time playing together.

Hot track man, really enjoyed it.
MikeI too have chickens (free range) with two roosters (one being very dominant), so I know where you’re going with this Todd.
I use a Boss BR 864 Digital Studio as well, and I like the versatility it gives me.
This song in particular put me in mind of the Fabulous Thunderbirds Jimmie Vaughan’s work, and is somewhat reminiscent of his younger brother Stevie Ray (especially the more difficult lead parts). It has some excellent ‘biting’ Texas style blues lead work, and the overall progression was a standard feel with some really nice changes. Also the programmed drum work was exceptional, and had a real feel. As a drummer/percussionists (my first love, long before I picked up guitar), I can appreciate the time you took in the patching together of the drum sections to make them sound this good.
This was well played, recorded, mixed, and produced Todd. It is “Highly” recommended!!!
Blessings
RonHi Tod, O man, a tone to die for. And this is just tonelab? Incredible. I mean definitely it?s tonelab & your way of playing!
Man, this is a gem.
Really up tempo feelgood stuff here, outstanding playing. Masterful, reminds me of the day when guitar players in bands were treated like lead singers, and in a way (you can hear it clearly here) guitars do sing!
Thank you for sharing!you rock, and I'm not just saying that! I am proud just to stand next to you when you play. You badass player don't you ever quit! All comments (43)

I'm a sucker for lightning in songs (done it a few times myself) but the morose storms clear like daylight. The guitars are a delightful symphony of power-pop harmony lines on top, and crunchy Keith Richards style 1 to the 4s underneath. And the break into Somewhere over the Rainbow was both cool and had me laughing. :) Everything is so clear and well produced on this, really good job!
