Hello music world, please consider this new age rock variety artist, "Todd Stormz." I'm here with an old batch of songs with some new ones too online, can still try...Band/artist history
I have a history/background in this area, for about the last 30 years or so, like I explained above. There was over a dozen bands that I performed/worked in. I've must have played at least 100 times from the early garage rock band days to showcases, clubs, churches, benefits and more. Opened and roadied headliners. Also taught guitar for a few years and produced other things. I growled and now know the road. I would like to consider my future in my career as of now and see how I can help out. I'm also on bandmix.com for a band, can conatct me if have.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes I did I enjoy both producing and working live productions. Since I became a solo artist I discovered my talents in many ways. I can perform as an individual or band member. So now I know I can go either direction with this market and career, I consider my options open for opportunities, do what I can for me to see.
Your musical influences
Well to start with this, I was Influenced, by a variety of things. Grew up listening to rock, country, classical, blues, spritual, etc. I've learned alot of songs through the years, I enjoy basically just good music. After studying guitar theory for most of the time, I wanted to be the guitar wizard. I listened/practiced to artists like Dokken/Ozzy/Malmsteen/Satriani/Santana/Segovia/Vai/Van halen/Rainbow and about anything popular on the radio. Then I was influenced to write my own songs and play the singer/guitarist role. Like Hendrix/Clapton/Miller/Nova/Cougar/Derringer/Nugent/Frampton and others and a vision a band like Triumph/Rush/Creed/Uriah heep/Deep purple/ZZ top/God smack and such. So it was good to get the edge on guitar and now get into the whole music picture. So I grew into a solo artist after time and now feel comfortable with my own music. I like artists that have something to say about themselves and this life. I try to be original and yet fit into this music media world. I got some good creative ideas and could turn into a significant artist someday. I think this artist has a new concept for this industry, there is more we can do together with these mediums. I like to be an guru and team player.What equipment do you use?
I used the acid pro 4.0 and some other software inovations on these projects, with proper regristation and licensing. They can be made to used with other programs or material, in sync. licenses. etc.. As long as the artist gets acknowledged writer credit for works being made and is processed correctly. So hopefully the next project will be in a real studio/artist setup, with landing a record deal. But for now, I just use whta I have, my guitars, amp and my creative imagination. Have computer studio, artist management workshop, so I can continue to woirk on my interests. Been with BMI for about 10 years and got some credit for and with symphonic distribution for the last 5 vears and on Spotify, iheartradio and more. So still playing and appreciating, see how it turns out to say.Anything else?
So explain this all, I have 8 cd/mp3/projects demo's released. They are, "Wishing wallz"-'01-'03, "Tracked this"-'05, "Visionz '06, "Free." '07- '08, "This dream" '08-'09 and now, "In the light" '09-'10 the compilation projects and "Pick this" an instrumental album and have "Singlez" from '05 -'09. So there is in total about 60 original songs I wrote/produced. Been a stormy road and hope it plays out for us all and support.
