This is my solo projects page. I go under the name Maverick because it means going against the grain and doing things that aren't main stream.
Your musical influences
I look at many different music styles for influence. I listen to Dr. Dre and Timbaland but I also listen to Alice In Chains and Metallica. I believe that you shouldn't limit yourself to only one way of doing things. Keep your mind open.
What equipment do you use?
Since 2006, I have slowly continued upgrading my studio. I started off using a boot leg copy of FL Studio XXL and a $5 mic. I quickly felt the limitations of what I had at the time so I made it a mission to get a high quality studio where your imagination was the limit. I currently use a high-end PC with I7 3770k processor, 10gb ram and 4 TB of memory. I use Presonus Firestudio Project as my interface. I have Studio One 2 PRO as my DAW. I incorporate Reason, FL Studio and Native Instrument programs into my songs. I currently use an Axiom 61, Akai LPK25 and Maschine MK2 for producing. And finally an Ibanez 4-string bass.
