Hi TJ:
Checking out your new tunes. "Overbored" is some white-hot guitar shredding, very well played. "Farmer's Pickle" has a fun rockabilly feel to it with Stray Cats style guitar picking. Voted everything hot. Thanks for stopping by.
Peace,

yeah man, i dunno... i wound up selling that head a long time ago. i never really liked it. i guess because it's digital and sh***.. the 5150's i like a lot. i haven't been listening to a lot of van halen lately, more modern music like john mayer. that guy's great, give him a listen if you like blues mixed with a little pop. it's real catchy stuff. im up in the sky like a kite right now, just relaxing and enjoying some music.

Back again, TJ! This time I'm listening to "I Hate My Boss," (who doesn't?;) ) way cool Joe Satriani-style instrumental. Nice guitar technique. I'm impressed. Also enjoyed "Europa" once again." Both HOT votes.
I have 2 top 5 SoundClick songs today: "Vampire Girls" and "If I Only Had A Brain." With enough votes, I'll have my first #1 this week.
Take care,
BILL WRIGHT

Brian, thanks for the compliments! I haven't been around much lately and am taking a little break from writing and recording.
But yes, I do know what you are talking about. But many times the "zone" will happen for me while playing live moreso than doing any studio stuff.
As far as meditating, definitely. I think that everyone should set aside at least 5 minutes a day to be by themselves with nothing around them. Not only to clear the mind, but rest it as well. We take in so much everyday. There comes a time when you gotta drain the tank!

I know what you mean about how we subconsciously take in things around us and it basically "becomes" us, whether we realize that it all happened that way or not. Are you into studying the mind at all? I've read many studies that say that we are truly creative only when our minds are still. Have you ever been soloing to a riff and caught yourself thinking about something completely different(baseball for example)?? I do it all the time. I'm really into meditation, which helps slow down my thoughts considerably, so that I am much more focused. If I meditate before I play, I find that I become much more creative, instead of just ripping out endless scales and what not. You appear to be very creative yourself, so I was wondering if you had any similar experiences to mine or whatever. I love your stuff, and keep jammin! -Brian

TJ FlinkFingers should be your name, very nice indeed. Very Satrianic.
Love this one TJ. It is "Bad Ass Guitar Player" And YES all that all was a joke, although not very funny. Some of the music on my page is almost hard to listen to (with singing LOL) as I just did it to play around and haven't been back in years except here and there. I love guitar and you need to check out a local (to me) guitar player named Andy Timmons. He isn't local anymore as he is a professional, BUT is really great and an all around solid diverse player with a musical pallet that stretches Far and Wide. You sound Great and I will buy your CD when it comes out. Gary
