TINK
I'm not really a band, I'm a songwriter who, by the grace of God or some other higher power, has had the good fortune of getting some music for some of my lyrics.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?

Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I don't play live, but I've been known to sing on Karioke night. If I drink enough beer, I sound just like... well, I sound just like Tink after drinking too much beer.
Your musical influences
Oh man... this is tough... I change daily. But I didn't really find the inspiration to write songs until I was turned on to Jimmy Buffett. But I listen to all kinds of music, country -- ala Trick Pony... I like the attitude. Musically I am inspired by anything that creates a visceral reaction while I'm lost in the song. Can't really pin it on any certain genre or band. I think one of the greatest writers of all time was John Lennon and the most beautiful song he ever wrote was "Imagine". More recently, Alannis Morisette has played a big part in my writing. Tomorrow it could be someone different.
What equipment do you use?
I'm strictly at the mercy of other musicians.
