Born and bred new yorker, I'm a singer, song writer and poet.
I write and sing of people & places some would say are best left unsaid.
The raw lyrics are contradictory to the, dare I say, beautiful vocals. They are a perfect polar opposite.
There’s really no way to describe my style, you just have to experience it.
I'm quite able to sing you a sweet sweet song about being
" alone on a cum stained mattress in the rivington hotel, aside a book of matches and a note that says stay well"....well you get the picture.
There’s rock, pop and a deep soul in me.
No matter the melody or lyrics, I am always and distinctively myself.
This allows for anything.
My mom listened to motown & my dad listened to rock & roll. I had the best of both worlds. There’s a huge difference between simplistic and vapid. I write songs with a heartbeat.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I love playing live. Larger audiences are great to play off of but the smallest venues give me an uncomfortable intimacy that turns me on.

the great aretha, billy holiday, jim morrison, the pretenders, the stones, johnny cash, neil young, heart, the deep dark world of tom waits....... I can go on & on.
