Tim Williams
Hi all... Welcome to my site. This site is a way to introduce you to some of the music projects I have been working on. I hope you enjoy what you hear and I'd appreciate your feedback. I'm not a signed professional, just someone who loves the blues. Hope you enjoy...
Tim W.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've played for 35 years... in and out of bands in the 70's and solo work in the 80's. So, you could say I'm in semi-retirement... Ha! Anyway, I've come back to the basics, you know... the blues, an American Stratocaster and a Marshall amp (yeah, I know, the amp's not a Fender Hot Rod Deville !)
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I've played live and I participate in jam sessions with other blues musicians. No special moments unless you consider that time in 1976.... Nope, better not go there !!!
Your musical influences
The three kings... B.B., Albert and Freddie... also Eric C. and Buddy G.
What equipment do you use?
Fender American Texas Special Strat played through a Marshall 100 watt 2x12 via a Marshall Guvnor and Ibanez Tubescreamer by way of a Korg PX-4 Pandora.
Anything else?
By the way, my Strat's name is Christine
