Besides concerts in clubs in cities across the country, the band proved itself as a furious and very exciting live act on gigs such as the EXIT festival (two years in a row) and RESTART, which was held before a great attendance in the novisadian Paradiso.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The band till was formed in Novi Sad (Serbia and Montenegro) in the beginning of the year 2002, by a group of musicians which were playing in either local or established bands. The first till line-up has not been changed since.
Your musical influences
The music of till could be seen as an original mixture of all the good things from the 50 year old history of alternative rock music. Starting from the 60s, the north-american folk music of Neil Young, Leonard Cohen, the pop avant-garde of the Velvet Underground, The Stoogees, crossing to the new wave with the Joy Division, Birthday Party and The Smiths, the punk music of the Sex Pistols, the noise of the Sonic Youth and Radiohead. Indie rock music in general had a driving influence on the music of this foursome.
