I have not gigged in several years now, and I have just done this home-recording thing as a hobby. I guess even the "everyone is a rock star now" heyday is over.
I know that I have not put enough full concentration into my passion for music. There are other things in life that drifted me away, and even troubled me.
I am just a small voice in the madness. I am also one of few who sit in awe of how lost the western and other parts of the world are.
Anyone who cares to try garnering just a SMALL part of understanding what is lost, can visit my site dedicated to my father: http://kouzhontaco.webs.com/chief.htm
Band/artist history
After years of playing in bands and writing music, I found myself destitute and living in a cabin out in the wild. With nothing but an acoustic guitar, I began writing and playing songs like never before.
Later, I got back on my feet and built a home studio in an apartment. The songs I had written all those years in the cabin began to take shape. Songs like "Backfields", "Feathers in the Wind" etc. were the first to be recorded and later re-recorded as I upgraded my gear.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
No live performances at this time.
Your musical influences
I was a guitar player and singer much influenced by such artists as "Jimi Hendrix" and "Blackfoot". My acoustic influences were from flutists like "Carlos Nakai" and the acoustic guitars of "Crosby, Stills, Nash, Young" and various other acoustic artists.
What equipment do you use?
For keyboards, I used a triton rack through an Alesis pro-keyboard. Some older tracks were done on an old acoustic piano with mics placed inside. I used Yamaha and and Alvarez acoustic guitars and a variety of electric and bass guitars. Flutes were done on a silver orchestral flute and a variety of Apache flutes, most of which I designed and built myself.

Backfields vocal is much too wet. Other than that it seems like this is a good mix, strong tune.
Scratch version of Songwriter Blues posted on my page. Going to clean this up and polish it over the next week or two. Comments appreciated.
