Song: The Empty Tomb
I liked a lot the Brass in this piece. Again I hear what makes your music unique, that is the combination of the classical forms with contemporary elements. The vals sounds like one of Hydn and there comes a variation in unexpected harmony, that is fantastic and well done.
Thanks "Maestro" for sharing your music, it is a real pleasure for my ears and also for my soul. Good keep your talent alive for many years.

Song: Golgotha
Wow..., Impressed.
The rhtymic introduction (really deserves a real orchestra performance) gives pace to a very lyrical horns and piano and again the conclussion full of tension until the rain comes to resolution. That piece should be promoted to have a live performance. Best of the best.

Song: Gethsemene
Derek,
Beautifull orchestral theme,
It is difficult to achieve realism with sampled orchestral sounds but stiil the sound reflects very clear your musical idea and the deep emotion of such an scene at Golgotta.
Yours is an original approach to this classic scennario, that has been touched by almost every composer through masses, requiems ...
Your work sounds at the same time contemporary, since you use profussely Maj7, 9th chords derived from Jazz, but at the same time retain the form of the more classical
"pied jesu" orchestration, I mean soft legato strings supporting the soloists..., were only are missing the Choirs, that I am sure you shouild have liked to introduce.
The result is a brilliant piece in conception and almost perfectly rendered into sound,

your music is really nice and technically perfect. Again the combination of the three rythms with a subtle melody, almost hipnotic that caught the attention of the listener. Almost one is so fascinated that does not perceive the small details on the percusion and overall orchestration.
It is magnific, Derek, great talent.

Song: So Thankful
You reach the heart with this piece. To say a word: Lovely.
In the musical aspect I find influences, good ones, from the seventies but I have to say again that your work looks and sounds more convincent and mature than that. Indeed you have apart of talent and experience a nice background on harmony and voice leading that makes your songs well constructed in every compositional aspect of rythm, melody and harmony. I am really impressed.

Song: Love's Regret
Derek, I find this composition a masterwork in the art of chromatic modulation. How subtle armonic transitions giives a romantic mood supporting a smooth melody somewhat tender and nostalgic that looks like rendered from a dream, Really nice.

Derek, Im impressed by these sounds, calm peacefull and expressive. Looking back at seventies when electronic music had its first steps, your sound is more matured, consonant in pitch and formally coherent.
Nice work, really impressed.

Well, done Derek! This is a very lovely piece. Really enjoyed it!
