threefiveseven
While playing in bands here in Atlanta (guitar in The Fabulous Lounge Punks, bass in The Stimulants and Kurtz), I always seemed to come up with songs or song ideas that just didn't fit with whatever band with whom I was playing at the time. So, I'd record them at my house just so I'd have them. I kinda joked around about maybe one day doing some sort of solo/side-project record or something. After getting shot in the face with a .357 Magnum in East Atlanta in August of 2000, I decided that whatever solo/side-project I ended up doing would be called threefiveseven. So...I guess I finally decided to get the ball rolling. All the songs are recorded here at Kirkwood Manor Studios (my dining room) with my little 4-track cassette machine. I play all instruments and occasionally attempt vocals. No drum machines...no Pro-Tools. I wouldn't mind finding some like-minded folks here in Atlanta and get another band going. I don't want to be the principal songwriter or anything, and I certainly don't want to be the singer. I'd just like to find other folks with cool song ideas and go from there. Play some shows, record some stuff, etc. That's one thing I miss about band situations...the collaboration and playing off of others. So, if'n you're interested in such, send me a message. Well, that's about it for now, I reckon. Stay tuned...
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
See introduction to the "band"...
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Currently not playing live, as it's kinda difficult when I'm playing all the instruments.
