Thomas Howard already has a history as a vocalist/songwriter and can boast of having fans from all over the world. Often compared to singers such as Stephen Bishop, Glen Frey, and John Mayer; he has a soft intimate sound that lends itself well to country, pop, and rock music. As a very popular vocalist featured in the Konami arcade and Play Station2 games, his voice is known by game fans all over the world, and especially in Asia. His voice can be heard on over 30 tracks on such popular games as: DrumMania, GuitarFreaks, DanceDanceRevolution, Beatmania,Pop-n-Music, DanceManiax, and more. Last year during a live show at the Tokyo game convention thousands of Japanese teenagers amazingly sang along with the English lyrics to the Songs Depend on MeEand Midnight SpecialEboth co-written by Thomas and Konami staff songwriters. Both songs are very popular hits from DrumMania and GuitarFreaks. Also last year, an E-mail from a DJ in San Fransisco said the following: My name is Dominic and I'm a DJ from San Francisco, CA, USA... I just wanted to say that "Ballad For You" is one of the best slow jams I've heard and there haven't been any songs like that that have that enveloping atmosphere to it. I came across it while playing "Beatmania IIDX: 6th Mix New Songs Collection" and I was hooked. I downloaded the .ram file you have on the website and played it at a gig I had and it practically overcrowded the dancefloor, and I had a bunch of people afterwards asking me about the song and I just told them to search for Thomas Howard and that was that... Just wanted to add that you are the first Beatmania artist outside of my homie mixmaster mike that I have actually found successfully. Since most Beatmania artists are hard to track down when it comes to finding complete versions of the tracks they contributed...
