I'm more of a ballad type songwriter but also have a little edgey side on some material. Most influenced by the great Merle Haggard, but heavy influence on the early Garth Brooks and George Strait styles. Brooks and Dunn and Montgomery Gentry styles are also something I like to work with.Anything else?
I would like to say thanks to several people who really try to help out new artist. Michelle at BMI if you read this thanks. Also the Nashville Songwriters Association for the services they offer newcomers, and the guys at the North Texas Songwriters Association, they have to listen to the tunes before I get them finished.
