Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
This is a band made up of 3 extremely commited guys. It is very difficult to try and pin point a particular style, they range from progressive punk to indie rock. They just say the music is a hybrid of rock. A very natural sound from 3 guys who just let their hearts out into the music. From Ben's creative riffs to Brian's genius level of bass playing, and Patrick's loud, hard hitting beats, the music continues to develop unceasingly. Keep checkin the site, and tell your friends. The band has over 45 songs, so make sure to hear them live! The 3 songs used as a demo don't even give you a glimpse of the true sound of THIS NEW REPUBLIC.

Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yeah we play live at least once a week at various places throughout the Greenville/Simpsonville/Mauldin area. We love playing live and being able to interact with our audience and show then the passion we have for our music.
Your musical influences
We listened to Grunge like Nirvana, Soundgarden and others along with bands like Chevelle, Further Seems Forever, The Police, and many others.
