Thinkspeak does original songs dealing with the subject of Being, with frequent excursions into protest mode, exploring & exposing the class of citizens who stand as major barrier to addressing the issues of life system pollution, over-population/consumption and war which threaten our young species with extinction.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Thinkspeak has evolved through personnel changes, live performance to sequenced accompaniment to simply solo writing songs, archiving them & jamming with friends. I still fantasize meeting up with good musicians who want to do my songs, back me up, be creative within the structure of the songs.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Atlanta for routine living & Northern Michigan for pleasant summers on cool Lake Superior & old memories.
Your musical influences
Dylan is the reason I started writing songs. I had an interest in writing, fiction, poetry... but Dylan & the whole musical renaissance of the 60s inspired me to want to learn guitar and the writing then began really before even cover songs.
What equipment do you use?
guitar, keyboards, garage band, imovie, digital camera, video camera, pen & ink, oil paint, charcoal... like that.
