The Zits are a one man D.I.Y. pop punk band with a wide range of other influences. Since Heath Benson formed The Zits in 2008, he has written, recorded and self released 5 EP's, a single, and an album. The Zits are known primarily in the underground pop punk scene with the likes of The Queers and Screeching Weasel. After much positive feedback and critical praise over the years, The Zits have slowly and steadily built up a loyal fan base. Heath has done multiple interviews for the band and has gotten his music played on several internet radio broadcasts and a few local college stations. Heath is currently writing and recording the next release titled "Broke and Loving It" due out sometime this winter.Band/artist history
