The Woops Crew
The Woops Crew is represented by MC's and graff artists: Negroide Barbaria (latino), MaD CannaBeeZ (swedish/finish), Homegrown(African Nigga). We are putting together an awesome demo, producing it from our home studio,
called Stoopid Stoodio in Uppsala sWeeDen. We deliver reallife stories from the street representing anarchistic hip-hop for the marginalized people in our society.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The plan came up in the mind of a nigga in the year 1999: Woops. An effort to bring kids from the street to a creative opportunity with music and painting. One year later a MaD Warrior connects to the energy... The strategy deepens. 2001: Surprize and Kingsize-Goofygoof enter. Shows and open mic sessions happen in Uppsala and Knivsta. 2002: MaD moves to Uppsala and begins building stoopid stoodio. Production is developing the Woops Crew is in the game. MC SPD-Chuckie-Gonzalez clicks with the Woops Crew. 2003: SPD forms the Green Cable including Homegrown of the Woops Crew, Negroida Barbaria, Kingsize-Goofygoof and Bud Green. 2004: Recording of a Green Cable album begins,
But... arguments concerning the realness of lyrical content grew... especially the rhymes of Mc Bud green "from KNIVSTA" came under the critical microscope and finally only SPD failed to realize the fake in Bud Green. Homegrown, Negroida Barbaria, and Kingsize-Goofygoof decided to leave the Green Cable and ride hardcore real reality with the Woops Crew.
In the meantime, 2003 MaD was sent to prison and in late 2004 he was released. Hearing about the fakeness of Bud Green boosted a lyrical bomb dissin Bud Green. At this point the Woops Crew is:
