The Whale Fiat Lux

I 'm The Whale and I approve this message. I write songs about life here in America, because that's where I am. On thing I really like about songwriting is that you can tell the truth unequivocally and hopefully develop a fan base.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
My recording projects have used many different musicians over the years. Most recently I've worked with Randy Feuer on electric guitar; Rich LaMonico drums , John Silver background vocals Craig Furkas on keyboards.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes I do play live. I recently performed at Kulak's Woodshed. One special moment was when I performed in front of the White House for a music video we were shooting and when I finished the tourist cheered and clapped their hands. It was very gratifying.
Your musical influences
Bob Dylan is my biggest influence as a songwriter, Frank Zappa's sarcasm, The Beatles, Woodie Guthrie and Pete Seeger, The Who, and too many others to mention.
What equipment do you use?
Guild D25 acoustic guitar,Guild Starfire, Fender Stratocaster, 1964 Fender Vibrolux, Neve mic pre, MOTU 24i, Digital Performer and an Apple G5.
Anything else?
I love my mom, America and apple pie in that order.
