The Weathermakers
The Weathermakers are a fourpiece boy-girl-indie-pop-rawk band influenced by climate maps, urban myths and heartaches and has been likened to sounding like a fawn driving a bulldozor!
Formed in 2007, The Weathermakers are:
Natasha Beaudin-bass and vocals
Matt Deline-drums and vocals
Nina Langfield-guitar
Chuck Saso-guitar
Some of the other bands members of The Weathermakers have also played in past and present include: Shotmaker, Sophomore Level Psycholoy, Canuck, The Grey, Les Allumettes, Montanaka, Eastborogh, Metz, The Arctic Above and Slow Parker.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Bandmembers Nina and Natasha started playing together in the influential all-girl band Sophomore Level Psychology in 1999. Matt and Chuck come from the hardcore scene and have played together in bands such as the Grey and Three Penny Opera.
This fall The Weathermakers released their full length album, "Alive in the City" recorded with Dave Draves at Little Bullhorn Studios.
What equipment do you use?
Your basic rock band: two electric guitars, one bass and drums. Matt and Natasha sing and sometimes chuck does too.
