About "The VIX"
Born in 1982 in the Philippines, Vince (the drummer) arrived in California long after leaving the Philippines, mostly because he chose to swim (He says it made him feel alive). Ultimatly he arrived with a horrible sun burn and with previous experience playing in bands. Born 1982 in Los Angeles California, Ana sings and plays Rhythm Guitar. Her parents did the right thing when they crossed that border! Born 1982 in Durango Mexico, Andre has been playing guitar since he was 13. and learned how to tune it at 19. Born 1984, Not much is yet known about Pablo except the fact that he is A pro septic tank cleaner . he also plays a mean bass (after washing his hands) Sept. 2000: Andre and Ana meet through College. They start playing and writings songs together for about 3 1/2 years. Feb. 2004: Ana is working at a grocery store as a cashier and she meets Vince who worked as a box boy at the time. March 2004 : Ana, Andre, and Vince form a nameless band and start writing songs. Meanwhile, Andre was working in the produce department in another grocery store of the same chain, which is where he met Pablo who would soon become the final member and mark the completion of the band. April 2004: The band is finally given a name: "The VIX"
