The Verona
The Verona is finnish band and our musical style can be descriped as melodic rock with metal influences.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The Verona plays melodic hard rock/ rock metal. The band was formed in October 2002 by Aleksi and Tuomas Suoranta and they made their first demo "Illusion" in September 2003. In November the band did their first gig in Vilppula youth central and after that they have made around 20 gigs including live performance in finnish tv-show called "Pulssi".
2. demo has been released in September 2004 and first ep in June 2005. We made a new version of "The Loner" to JYRÄ!-skaba in December and it was recorded live in noisecamp-studio.
Newest ep, "2 Steps Back", is now released!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yeah, we do! We'we payed in bars and also in live tv-show here in Finland. One special moment was when we played with Poets of the Fall, which was at the moment #1 on the official Finnish album chart.
