The Trees
All industrious improv musicians create music scapes from delight to confusion simultaneously resolving and evolving. The music is Live, a living thing, and sometimes even dies before being reborn.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
All native New Yorkers. Together for almost ten years, like one mind.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We only play live. All our tracks are "captured" like an animal, alive.
Your musical influences
The Grateful Dead, Miles Davis, The Residents, Coletrain, Al Dimeola, Paco de Lucia, The incredible local bands of the Hudson Valley and of course our past.
What equipment do you use?
Two guitars, a fender jazz bass, drums, some delay, reverb and you know....
