The Transfusions
The Transfusions
The Transfusions are influenced mostly by the great 70s punk bands....bands like the Buzzcocks, the Ramones, the Damned, and the Saints. They play the real thing not the fake mall-rat Good Charlotte watered down bullshit that passes for punk.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
In Nov 2002, The Transfusions were formed out of frustration, boredom, and disillusionment in the desolate musical wasteland of Tallahassee,Florida. Noticing that many people in this town didn't have the slightest clue how to rock, these visionaries took it upon themselves to bring good music down to the deprived masses. In these bleak times, it seems no one wants to rock n roll anymore. The Transfusions are a four man operation against that trend, armed with pop hooks, punk rock power chords, and rock n roll leads. They don't care about politics, the environment or any lame shit like that. They just want to rock your lame little world....deep inside you know you want them to.
But what do they sound like.....well they are influenced by the Ramones, Buzzcocks, Saints, Clash, Black Flag, etc. They are commonly described as old school, but they're no retro act. Their music might be influenced by 70s punk but they put a modern twist into it.
