Band/artist history
The Syndicate is the brainchild of one individual, and through his perseverance and hard work we are where we are today, and poised to take it to the next phase.
His name is Spudd Rok, and through a collaboration with the producer known as Na$h the concept took wing.
The Syndicate actually got its start as an entity that was called the Eastbourne Syndicate, which was founded in 2000. Its goal was to unite various artist in the Eastbourne, UK area into a cohesive force---and show the world that nearby Brighton was not the only place where things were happening....?
But it was not meant to be. After a very promising start in which 7 different artists and bands were founded, interest in the project waned. Spudd watched as the roster shrunk down to just himself.
Yet he did not give in.
He happened upon Na$h (then known as Na$ty Na$h) while listening to new tunes submitted by interested people. Na$h was also looking for a place to grow into an accomplished producer/songwriter, and he and Spudd hit it off like a house on fire.
Then, a chance encounter with some people at a local night club was to introduce him to Julez---a very promising talent with a lovely voice.
Not long after, a group of boyz calling themselves "Force 5" were brought to his attention. Their sound was a perfect fit with the GrooveTunes/Syndicate concept, and were quickly added to the mix.
Most recently, the artist known as Jay Luv was "discovered" at a local karaoke bar. His soulful voice gave the project the balance it was lacking.
And we also added Kez and Jez (Sistaz) - who you will be hearing about very soon...
Plus, we are also looking at another very talented artist, and hope to add them as well...
There is no stopping us.Have you performed in front of an audience?We have not played live yet, but are gearing up to do so.

Our sound incorporates the elements of Chic, George Clinton, Loose Ends and Curtis Mayfield.Sup peeps!
