Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The SwAmpee is an unsigned, three-piece, Tulsa based rock band. If youd ask them what genre theyre in, theyd probably say, Uhh, rock? Theyd probably insist you call them whatever you want. All they really want is to play music and have fun, frequently leaving their mark on battle of the bands contests and playing at local pool halls like Diamond Billiards. You will surely remember them after attending one of their shows. At some point in their shows, the energy usually peaks and chaos ensues. This usually ends with people taking home autographed pieces of broken guitar. The SwAmpee is very hard working when it comes to their music. They spend much of their free time writing new songs, improving old ones, and recording in their studio at drummer, Jasons house. The SwAmpee is still a baby, slowly but surely engraving their reputation and making new fans at every show. The two origional members Jason and John have been playing music together for a few years but just recently added James to the group, boosting their energy and helping them to grow musically.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play live in Tulsa, OK. we often play at battle of the bands contests and pool halls. ...we likes its. Every show is a special moment. we hope to see you there!
