The Stores was formed in a barn way out on the heath of the Midwest re-gion of Denmark in 2003. It was in this barn they had been playing to-gether for a year’s time through the warmth of summer and in the blister-ing cold of winter with no heat except for a broken fan heater before it all began. After a while they decided to burn their bridges and went on to the city, got a place to do their thing and this is where we find them today. After doing about a dozen gigs throughout the past year at different music venues, colleges, and at a festival The Stores have now become known all through the Western parts of Denmark for their delicious spine ripping sound of thrilling drums, rumbling bass, killing vocals and guitar with no lacks of tremolo, reverb and overdrive. Not to mention their breath taking shows. The mixture of “to the bone” rock n’ roll and twirling surf combined with influences from blues, western, vintage rock n’ roll etc. is just some of the good stuff that really makes this band truly outstanding.
