The Station blends Acoustic Pop & Folk Rock with a Jazz and Blues essence. They perform original material and a wide range of cover songs if required by the venue. Michelle C. Guy Michelle has a smooth and haunting vocal style that captivates listeners and is reminiscent of Natalie Merchant, Jann Arden and Tracy Chapman. Brad Hilliker Brads smooth soft rock acoustic guitar groove is peppered with blues, soul and colourful arrangements. Some of his influences are Elvis Costello, Lou Reed and Nick Cave. Their performances and recording skills have taken them from festivals, gala events, lounge and restaurant performances to producing music for independent film and advertising. The Station performs regularly at a variety of venues as a 2 piece plus a rotating line up of musicians for a 3 to 5 piece band show. They are currently working on their second independent recording project.
