The Split Endz are a true school hip-hop group from Dallas, Texas...BOOMTOWN BABY!!! We infuse conscious lyrics with funky beats and phat nasty basslines to rep that southern style WITH SUBSTANCE. Don't sleep...cuz we never do.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Beowolf and Mike Skillz started DeeJaying as sophomores in high school in '92 and the crew formed over the next two years including: R-Tillery, Omega 777, DJ Eddie Rackley and finally DVD. Over the last 12 years Deejaying evolved into producing, writing and emceeing and now we have become what you hear today.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
As soon as our first album is finished, we will be looking to do shows around the DFW metroplex and Texas.
Your musical influences
Outkast, Freestyle Fellowship, The Pharcyde, Wu-Tang, Timbaland, The Neptunes, Beastie Boys, too many more to name...also all kinds of 70's rock, funk and soul.
