The Space Vibrators
Hello. We are the Space Vibrators. We are a new wave space-techno progressive rock group that will someday change the course of modern music. Our music does not fit into any particular genre as we constantly defy the conventions of modern music. Our music is like outer space itself. Although i have never been there, in space, one can defy the laws of physics as we do so with the laws of music.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
My previous band Wetdream was very popular amongst the natives. Our music was not very different from the Space Vibrators because I wrote and performed all the songs. Everyone else was replacable but they fired me instead of themselves, saying i was too "domineering" and "smelly"(what?!!!) I felt like Billy Corgan. I was also in a tribute band of the String Cheese Incident (my all time heroes) called the Knob Cheese Incident.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We once played a surprise show for a nursing center and they loved us. The most special moment was when one of the grandmas flashed her tits. I felt like Steven Tyler.
Your musical influences
Bach, Beethoven, Mozart. Modern influences include Chemical Bros, Michelle Gun Elephant, Michael Jackson, Bathtub Masturbators, Sonic Youth, and Godspeed You Black Emperor.
What equipment do you use?
Yamaha psr/47, chaos pad, turbo rat.
Anything else?
Fender strat, epiphone les paul, fender pbass, zoom pso2, zoom mrs802, yamaha keyboard and clavinova.
