The Sober Irishman is a one-man band. Unless otherwise noted, all instruments are played by me. All songs are also recorded, mixed, and mastered by me.
Band/artist history
Yeah.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Bars and Songfight Live events are pretty much all I can pull off without a full band.
Your musical influences
Shane MacGowan and The Pogues, The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem, Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, Anti-Flag, Crass, The Ramones, The Misfits, Enya, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Radiohead, Live, Queen, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, The Who, Pink Floyd, The Dead Kennedys, The Dubliners, The Chieftans, The Irish Descendants, System of a Down, too many....
What equipment do you use?
I do a little here and there, so: Acid Pro 4.0 and Fruity Loops 4. That's about it. Instruments are: Harp, accordion, tin whistles, harmonica, piano, guitar, bodhran, other percussion, and vocals.
Anything else?
Don't listen to the radio, except for talk radio. Don't watch TV, except for Comedy Central and the History Channel.
